The purpose of the Communications Committee is to keep the membership informed of the news and activities of Local 88 in the plant and in the community.

We communicate via several methods such as our newsletter Off the Line, this website, ads in local newspapers and radio, and by acting as a sponsor of the Ingersoll Christmas Parade, a major supporter of the Fusion Youth Centre in Ingersoll, and by sponsoring various local sport teams.

The Communications Committee usually meets just prior to the newsletter publication on an informal basis at the Local 88 union office.
