How to build a local food system that works for everyone

My Local Connection makes access to healthy food easy, convenient, and safe for everyone, especially the most vulnerable in our community. We offer five ways to get involved in helping us grow a local food system that supports all of us. Because #everyoneeats.

Matched one-for-one food donations that we distribute through our community service partners. Buy a produce box or prepared meals box, and we donate a bag of produce or prepared meals to people in our community who need support.

Community Hubs

We work with service groups, not-for-profits, and other organizations to feed people in our communities through their hands. For every subscription produce box or prepared meal box that we sell, we donate a bag of produce or prepared meals through our community hub partners

Pay-What-You-Can

Besides the food we distribute through our community service partners, our $44 produce bag is made available for “Pay-What-You-Can”. These produce bags are available from 10-3pm on Saturdays at our Food Hub location.

Adopt a Family

Welcome to the family! Who we are drives what we do. We know we have work to do - and this is us doing it. Adopting a family costs approximately $40 a week for us to deliver a bag of produce to their doorstep.
